Mark Morosky – As founder of Trimark Associates, Inc., Mark Morosky provides day-to-day leadership for this small business. His work includes consulting on, engineering, and implementation of complex metering designs and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems; auditing the design and operation of existing metering systems; installation of interval meters with wireless connectivity; plus, the management of metering data.
Prior to forming Trimark, Mark managed the CAISO revenue metering initiative from conception through development, deployment and stable operation. He was responsible for managing daily operations of the CAISO’s Meter Data Acquisition System (MDAS); and, facilitating the development of the software and hardware needed for CAISO to measure and control generation.
During this high-profile initiative, Mark ensured the development of CAISO Metering Protocols, Guidelines and Procedures were applied consistently within the FERC-approved CAISO Tariffs. In addition to the development of this program, Mark was also responsible for physical metering standards, review and approval of CAISO meter engineering proposals, and ISO meter inspection programs. He effectively coordinated CAISO Metering issues with market participants, internal CAISO departments and regulatory bodies for rapid solutions. His diligence and expertise ensured successful compliance with CAISO requirements and contractual agreements within budgetary constraints.
Dean Schoeder – Trimark’s Chief Marketing Officer has over 40 years of experience in setting the vision for complex control system, instrumentation, and electrical utility projects. A degreed electrical engineer, he is adept at setting a vision for a project, then ensuring that the design, specifications, supervision, construction, and start up support the objective. Dean has led project and regional teams of over 25 staff members. He has devised and instituted a quality management system that addresses each stage of a project from conception to conclusion. Dean has been responsible for the successful implementation of over $500 million of capital improvements related to controls, systems, networks, metering and security.
Robert “Bob” Wood – As Trimark’s Chief Operating Officer and Chief Technology Officer, Mr. Wood oversees and manages day-to-day operations including systems integration and engineering, software development, fabrication/production, revenue metering, and data management.
Robert applies experience gained through a variety of executive and management positions in the solar, banking, legal and technology industries. Mr. Wood was formerly the Chief Operating Officer of Solar Power, Inc. where he was responsible for planning, supply chain, engineering, information technology, asset management, construction, procurement and quality control.
Harvy Dhillon — As Vice President of Finance of Trimark, Mr. Dhillon is responsible for the overall financial management of the company, its financial reporting, and tax compliance. Prior to joining Trimark, Harvy was the controller for a Sacramento based construction company. His experience also includes several years in public accounting with a regional accounting firm based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Jae Kim – Mr. Kim, Regional Director, has more than 19 years of experience with control, instrumentation, security, and electrical systems for automation of complex processes. His experience includes project management, design, specifications, supervision, construction oversight, and start up of complex control system, instrumentation, security, and electrical projects.
Lord Toliao – Trimark’s Director of Client Solutions has 14 years of leadership and management experience in the electric power and technology industries. Lord applies extensive experience in project management and CAISO requirements to help our clients’ attain Commercial Operations and sell electric power. Our client’s trust Lord to apply his thorough understanding of CAISO’s process as well as practical experience gained in managing or overseeing metering and data telemetry for more than 400 electric power generation projects. He has been responsible for projects ranging from solar to nuclear power and from 1MW to 2.3GW in size. Prior to joining Trimark, Lord was a sales representative for Graybar Electric.
Stephen Yee – Trimark’s Director of SCADA Engineering and Security has 10+ years of experience in the solar generation industry. Prior to joining Trimark, Stephen was the Corporate Quality Engineering Director for SPI Solar where he was responsible for PV project engineering, design, testing, commissioning, and O&M. He also headed the startup of overseas manufacturing facilities including PV module and mechanical subassembly manufacturing.
Stephen has been instrumental in defining and developing the next generation of PV plant management and controls throughout his career. He has applied power engineering concepts to real-world scenarios providing unprecedented control over PV inverters, trackers, capacitor banks and other IEDs to satisfy interconnetion and regulatory requirements as well as provide dynamic grid support. He works directly with manufacturers of PV inverters, trackers, and PV resource equipment to develop and validate Trimark’s control technology using laboratory test beds and simulation software before proving out control in production.
Olivia Luna — As Trimark expands in response to a steadily growing list of projects, Human Resources Manager, Olivia Luna, takes pride in building the best possible team to add to our company culture and serve our results-oriented clients. She manages staffing and a full suite of human resources and social activities for Trimark locations. Originally from the SF Bay area, she earned her bachelor’s degree in human resources from California State University, Sacramento where her belief in open-door management practices were reinforced. For more than 15 years, she has gained the trust of her fellow employees by encouraging open and honest communication and acting on feedback. She has seamlessly reinvigorated work environments on par with the innovative technology sectors that she’s staffed.
Scott McKinney — Trimark’s Senior Marketing Manager, Scott McKinney, made his way to Trimark in 2012. For more than 25 years, Scott has blended written and visual communications to help technology start-ups, software companies, and engineering/consulting companies develop internal and external communications programs. He guided Trimark through a rebranding process that produced an interactive website, crisp collateral materials, and an enhanced tradeshow presence, among other initiatives. Scott attended Pacific Union College where he earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism.
Andrew Wilson — As Trimark’s Purchasing Lead, Mr. Wilson applies extensive procurement, materials management and supply chain experience. His background includes logistics management, inventory control, supplier management, operations supervision, process improvement, project management, process/procedure writing, contract analysis, sourcing and negotiation. Andrew holds a BA from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and is a Six Sigma certified Greenbelt, a Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) and a Certified ISO 9000 & 9001 Auditor.
Mr. Wiley brings 25 years of sales and market development experience at SCADA system integrators and software vendors in the electric utility and power generation industry. Malcolm’s employment history includes service at Siemens, CG Power, and Landis & Gyr.
Wiley served in the United States Marine Corp for six years and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Economics from the University of San Francisco.
Sherrie Retzer — Trimark’s Data Services Manager brings over 15 years of IT Services experience in emerging Big Data technologies and their commercial applications. She is a creative innovator whose customer-oriented solutions have resulted in profitability and whose pursuit of continuous improvements yields high quality.
Sherrie is responsible for managing Trimark’s Data Services team that administers the accuracy and accountability for over $1 billion dollars in annual energy market transactions.
Tom Short – Trimark’s IT Manager, brings over 20 years’ of field experience applying information technology solutions to address business and operational challenges. Tom has led Trimark teams in the installation of smart systems at the City of Santa Barbara and California State University Sacramento. His responsibilities include supporting projects with advanced hardware or networking requirements. Tom also manages Trimark’s in-house IT infrastructure across all offices.
