Blue Oak Energy Selects Trimark to Deploy Its T1-S Gateway SCADA System for a Combined 34 MW Solar Site

Folsom/ Chatsworth/ Sunnyvale Calif. & Norfolk, VA – Trimark will configure and deploy its signature browser-based power monitoring system, T1-S Gateway SCADA, for two, co-located photovoltaic (PV) generating facilities, Nicolis and Tropico, located in Tulare County, California.

Nicolis generates 20 MW of solar power and Tropico generates 14 MW. The site is co-owned by partners Panasonic Enterprise Solutions Company and Coronal Group LLC.

At both generating facilities, Trimark will provide its intuitive, web and mobile-accessible SCADA system, a data historian to archive and report mission-critical information, meteorological stations with all-in-one sensors to forecast potential generation and network drops to carry data and commands to and from the other site devices. This end-to-end solution ensures the sites will have a complete, integrated system and full-featured controls.

Based on Trimark’s experience developing and deploying technology for monitoring and controlling utility-scale power generation plants, Panasonic awarded Trimark the project. Trimark’s expertise is visible in the largest PV sites across the world including utility-scale solar sites Topaz (550 MW), Desert Sunlight (550 MW), Solar Star (579 MW), Redwood Cluster (60 MW) and many others.
