Trimark to Present and Exhibit at SPI
Trimark to Present Advanced Inverter Control and Line-Loss Compensation Solutions at Solar Power International
Folsom, Calif. – Trimark will be presenting on stage and with a poster on the topics of Advanced Inverter Control and Dynamic Line Loss Compensation during the Solar Power International (SPI) in Las Vegas, October 20-23, 2014. SPI is the industry’s comprehensive educational conference and product expo.
On stage, Trimark will discuss the first, unified PV inverter control and data telemetry system in the U.S. In January 2014, Trimark Associates, Inc. (Trimark) commissioned a system to manage 23 SMA 800CP photovoltaic inverters at Sun Edison’s 18.4 MW Cascade Solar Project. The system enables site operators to manage all 23 inverters at the site as a single resource. Site operators can connect or disconnect inverters, adjust maximum power generation level and establish power factor set points. This presentation occurs in Room 225 at 10:30AM on Thursday, October 23.
Through a poster display at the show, Trimark will present “Dynamic Loss-Compensation Saves Millions in Settlement Value.” This poster is a simple explanation of the most complex metering system in the U.S. The system calculates line losses of four neighboring solar power generation plants that share a single 230 kV transmission line. The system results in equitable division of line losses, reduced line loss burden for a single generator, and higher accuracy in settlement values. The poster will be displayed in Booth 5100 on October 22, 4:30 to 6:00 PM.
If you are unable to attend these formal presentations, visit Trimark at booth 138 for a one-on-one discussion of advanced inverter control, data telemetry and revenue metering.
