Developed by Solar Frontier Americas, the site included 25 Power Electronic 2330kW inverters, a NEXTracker solar tracking system, and a capacitor bank to help regulate power characteristics. Midway I was brought to COD by Solar Frontier Americas before being sold to X-ELIO Energy SL. Blattner Energy was the EPC responsible for managing construction. The resource has a 25-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with the Imperial Irrigation District (IID). Blattner Energy contracted Trimark to deliver Trimark SCADA to support PV plant operations, regulate electric power generation and stablize power at the point of interconnection with the Imperial Irrigation District. Trimark also acted as consultants to walk both the contractor and owner through the complexity of the New Resource Implementation cycle for CAISO.
