Trimark’s Master Plant Controller (MPC) unifies control over hybrid and/or co-located PV and PV+Battery Energy Storage (BESS) resources. MPC functionality is designed to:

  • Comply with LGIA limits and PPA requirements while maximizing revenue.
  • Provide overload protection by managing real and reactive power flow between resources that share transformers.
  • Manage and control reactive power (VAR) flow from each resource to deliver the necessary VARs at the Point of Delivery to comply with LGIA requirements.
  • Manage and optimize VAR flow between hybrid or co-located PV/ BESS resources to maximize BESS apparent power capability, when available.
