Southampton Solar
Project Type: PV rated at 100 MWLocation: Franklin, VA in Southampton County
EPC: Signal Energy
Products/Services: SCADA, MET stations
Designed by Westwood, the site included 42 TMEIC 2500kW inverters and a NEXTracker solar tracking system. Southampton Solar was brought to COD by Signal Energy for Dominion Energy. Signal Energy was the EPC responsible for managing construction. Signal Energy contracted Trimark to deliver Trimark SCADA to support PV plant operations, regulate electric power generation and stabilize power at the point of interconnection. Trimark also designed and installed 6 meteorological weather station as well as 30 remote wind stations.
