Trimark Achieves SOC 2® Type 2 Compliance
Trimark Associates, Inc. has announced successful completion of a System Organization Controls (SOC) 2® Type 2 audit of Trimark’s SCADA Solutions and Supporting Infrastructure reinforcing the firm’s commitment to data security and trust.
“Our clients operate critical energy infrastructure where integrity and information security are essential,” said Mark Morosky, Chairman and CEO of Trimark. “Achieving SOC 2 Type 2 compliance demonstrates our ongoing commitment to system and data security.”
The SOC 2 Type 2 audit was performed by Sensiba LLP (Sensiba), an independent CPA firm, in accordance with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) Trust Services Criteria (TSC) including standards for security, availability, and confidentiality. A SOC 2 Type 2 report evaluates the design and operating effectiveness of controls relevant to trust services over a defined period. Trimark’s SOC 2 Type 2 report expresses a clean audit opinion from Sensiba.
Sensiba also issued a SOC 3 report. This publicly-available report provides broad assurance to customers and partners regarding Trimark’s controls for security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy.
“SOC 2 Type 2 is an important milestone in strengthening our security posture and demonstrating our ongoing commitment to protecting customer and company data,” added John Renfroe, Chief Technology and Innovation Officer. “This accomplishment reflects months of collaboration, diligence, and focus to assure security and operational excellence.”
“Achieving SOC 2 and SOC 3 compliance is not a one‑time effort,” Renfroe explained. “It’s an ongoing responsibility to maintain and strengthen controls, continuously improve practices, and uphold the trust placed in us by our customers, partners, and stakeholders.”
Trimark successfully completed the SOC 2 Type 1 Audit in September of 2025. The SOC 3 report is available upon request.
